Dance Diva's

Last night was "dance night" here in the Wagner house. Lexi went for her second dance class, and Bianka went for her first ballet class. What better to mark this occasion than new outfits from Meme?? My mom showed up yesterday with a new dance costume for each of the girls, needless to say, they were excited! Imagine that, my diva's excited about clothes! I swear I just cannot understand where my children came from. When I was a kid dance class sounded horrible to me (believe me, that is what my mom wanted me to do). I wanted to be in a tae-kwon-do classes kicking someone's ass! I spent all of my time in the woods riding dirt bikes and four wheelers, I though that it was cool that I could climb a tree faster than any of my friends, and I was the only girl that didn't think that it was gross to jump in the lake with all the seaweed! I swear, I don't know what to do with these girly girls!! Anyway, Bianka's ballet class went exceptionally well! She skipped right over the pre-school ballet to ballet one. I was impressed that she could keep up with the older girls because she has never taken ballet, always just tap and jazz. The class is really small, so it is really nice! Lexi's dance class went great until it was almost over. I think that she was just over exhausted and she didn't feel very well. It was so sad, she was in the middle of a dance when she just looked in the mirror and started to cry! I knew that she had had enough!  All in all it was another successful week! Maybe next week we will not have to deal with sick kids, or Josh being out of town! I think that it is just wishful thinking!! :o) This last picture has nothing to do with dance, but isn't it adorable? I thought that it was just way too cute not to post! My girls may be girly, but aren't they cute?

Lexi Lynn and the never ending ear infections!

So the doctor finally saw us, an hour and a half later! And surprise surprise, Lexi has yet another ear infection! I do not know what to do with her, I am at my wits end with her ears. This is Lexi's sixth ear infection in the last 12 months. It never fails, she gets over one, and another one pops up! I know that of all of the ailments that my daughter could have, this is pretty minor, but is is still upsetting and frustrating! The doctor has referred me to a ear nose and throat specialist. They are talking about putting tubes in her ears. I really hope that it does not come to this, but I guess we will see! Right about now if it makes her feel better I am up for anything. She feels miserable, she is coughing and her nose is running, and she just acts sad. It breaks my heart!

now. I think that they forgot about us and went to lunch!

My Zoo

I love my pets! They are annoying, they drag dirt into my house, they bark and meow at me at all hours of the night, they beg for food and they insist on laying in my spot on the couch every night.  But the simple truth of the matter is, my life would not be complete without my babies.

                                                                                                                                         I have Molly, who is schizophrenic and neurotic. She barks at nothing, she bites my sister every time she walks into the house, and she sits on the top of the couch like a cat. My mom says that she is the only dog in the world that needs a psychiatrist. I almost agree with her. We inherited Molly when she was about 10 weeks old from my Mom. Mom bought Molly right before her house burnt down on Valentine's Day. The vet thinks that the trauma from the fire may have stunted her growth. I think that she is just "special" in every way! I swear if she was a kid she would eat glue and lick windows!

Skippy is my baby boy. He is about a year and a half old, but he still thinks that he is a newborn puppy. He cries when it rains, he barks like a girl, and he would lick a burglar to death before he would bite them. He cannot walk across my kitchen floor without slipping and falling on his butt, and he likes to sit on my lap when we watch T.V.  We bought Skippy for Lexi when she was about a year old, and she never lets us forget it! Skippy is afraid of EVERYTHING, including my camera. He runs from it and gives out that little girly bark of his, so getting a good picture of him is next to impossible. The list of everything else that he is afraid of would take me all day to type, so here are just a few things, the bath tub, ANY loud noise, squeaky toys, the cats toy mice, brooms, and the vacuum cleaner.

Mr. Whiskers is the king of the house. He is almost 3, but he acts like he is 80. He lays around looking at everyone like they are "below" him.  When he decides to sit on my lap he will smack any animal that tries to occupy his space. He is hilarious. He is the exact stereo type of a cat. He is fat and lazy, and he eats like a pig. If his litter box is not clean at all times, or if he can see the bottom of his food bowl he will follow you around yelling at you. The only time that he acts like a kitten is at night when we go to bed. He seems to know when it is bedtime, and he runs in front of me and Josh on the stairs and jumps on our bed. This is his time. We have to pay attention to him every night or we can forget about sleeping! We got Mr. Whisker's when I found him in a little pet store. He was in a little tiny cage and it broke my heart. I brought him home right after Lexi was born. 

Baby Boo Boo is the newest addition to our family. His name is just Boo, but everyone in the house, including Josh, has taken to calling him Baby Boo Boo. He is the oddest cat I have ever had. He is starving ALL the time, he eats three or four packs of food a day. He will not let us play with him with toys, he grabs them, runs, and growls. And this is not just any ordinary growl, he sounds possessed! He loves to play, just not with any kind of cat toy. He sleeps with Josh, right on his head. We can't seem to break him of this habit. He loves the kids, and he loves any attention that we will give him. He is the cat that follows me through the house all day, no matter where I am at, Boo Boo is not far behind. I also found Boo in a pet store. He had two of his brothers with him, all of them in one cage. If I could have afforded to I would have brought them all home with me.

 

Well this is my zoo, and I guess it is nice that the animals let me live in it! I always find it funny when people ask me about my animals, I have to say " I have two kids, two dogs, and two cats!" I get a lot of weird looks, but what can I say, I am a softie for animals!

Let it Snow! :o(

I woke up this morning, stretched my arms, and then made the first mistake of the day, I looked at my clock! LATE AGAIN! It never fails, if I have something to do, I sleep in! It seems as if I have this backasswards internal clock that only wakes me up early if I have NOTHING to do that day! I really need to get that looked at! Do you think that there is a backassward clock doctor? Probably not. So then I mosey on downstairs and the first thing that I see is..... THIS!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Can you believe it! SNOW....AGAIN! I am so sick of winter!

I think that  I am going to move to Mexico where it is always warm and the Margaritas come by the gallon full! I will become a beach bum and have a sidewalk act to make extra money. Maybe I will juggle flaming batons, or maybe I could be a fortune teller. Everyone loves a fortune teller, right?

What's a little credit fraud between friends?

So Tracie and I went out to eat last night. We had fun, the kids behaved so we decided to go to the pet store and then to Walmart. No big problems all the way through Walmart, which is ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING when you have four kids with you! We even ran into another friend of ours,  Sandy, with her husband and daughter. The kids were so excited and wound up you would have thought we were at Chuck-E-Cheese! They were playing "ring around the rosy"  in the middle of the isle and dodging carts like it was a game.  We actually found a way to have fun in Walmart (something that I have found impossible to do after working there)!

So anyway Tracie had picked up quite a few things and I had a candy bar for Lexi, and a pack of gum for Bink. So logically Tracie went first in the ever so busy checkout.  Yet again no problems, until I went to checkout with my one candy bar and my one piece of gum. I honestly thought that I was losing my mind! I swiped my debit card to pay the $1.97 total, put in my pin number, and my card was DENIED! I could not believe it, so I entered my pin number like three more times. Still no luck. I was thinking that even if I was broke, which this week I wasn't, I would surely have $2 in my account! The whole thing was getting to be embarrassing! I have never had my card denied before!  Then I noticed that it was coming back incorrect PIN. This is when I got pissed. I have had the same PIN for like five years, I thought I was losing my mind! It was only when my PIN was yet again denied that I looked at the card to see if maybe I had grabbed Josh's card on accident. NOPE! I had Tracie's card! 

I have never seen anyone so confused as that poor cashier. Tracie and I broke out into hysterical laughter, he was looking like, Oh CRAP I just let that lady(Tracie) pay for like $100 dollars worth of stuff on a card that wasn't hers, I think that he thought I was going to yell at him or something.

To be honest I should have, but I just found the whole situation so hilarious, that I wasn't even paying attention! It was honestly my fault, I would have never noticed if I hadn't decided to use debit, which I very rarely do, I just did this time because it was such a small amount. I almost wish I wouldn't have, think of the things I could have bought on Tracie's card, can we say "SHOPPING SPREE"?:o) Just joking people, I do have values!!

Anyway, we figured it out! The lady at the Chinese restaurant had switched our cards. It was not hard to do because we both have the same bank, and the only thing different about the cards is the name. But after we stopped laughing and I headed home I had to call Tracie. If she used my card at Walmart, then I used HER card at the pet store! GEEZE no wonder people steal credit cards! It is SO easy!

I won in the end! HEHE (Sorry Tracie) I do the "points" thing with my bank, so all of the money that Tracie spent I get the points for! Have you ever heard of credit fraud with benefits? I guess I will have to take her out to dinner or something!

Well in my ever so ordinary life this was a big day for me(haha) so I felt in necessary to share it with all of you!

 

NOTE TO CASHIERS AT WALMART : FOR GOODNESS SAKES CHECK ID'S!!!THIS IS WHY IT IS SO EASY TO COMMIT IDDENITY THEFT AND CREDIT FRAUD! But when the "victims" finds it as funny as we did, I guess it is ok!

Lexi's First Dance Class

Little Miss Lexi Lynn went to her very first dance class tonight. She was busting at the seams with excitement, me not so much. I do not know why, but when my kids are going to something for the first time, or I do not know how something is going to turn out, my stomach gets in knots and I feel sick as if I was the one trying something new. It turns out that this time I was nervous for nothing, Lexi did wonderful!

We started out her big day with getting fitted for ballet shoes, picking out a ballet outfit, and then going home and convincing her to wait two hours before she could go to her class. This part was not fun! Lexi would not stop screaming " Me go to dance cass all by meself!!" over and over and over. I was about to lose it! I was never so happy to see that it was 4:30 in the afternoon! We got her dressed in her new outfit (she was only excited about the tights) and I went to put her tennis shoes on her because it was pouring down rain outside, but no, she HAD to wear those new ballet shoes. So this meant that I had to carry all 42 pounds of her to the car, and then over a block from the car to the dance studio. Needless to say my back was killing me, and I just knew that she would not go into the class  by herself.

Turns out I was wrong again! Don't you love how kids do things just to prove their parents wrong and make liars out of them! I know I do! (haha) So anyway we were a little early, but Lexi didn't care. She played with the other girls in her class like she has known them for years, and when the teacher came out to get them she went right in without looking back! This was great for me, but Bianka was not too happy about it. I had told Bianka that if her sister wouldn't dance by herself that she could go in and help her.  About five minutes of the class went by and Lexi was doing fine, but Bianka thought that she could use a hand. Bink waltzed right into the class and danced right along with her sister. I am so glad that they have an understanding dance teacher! 

Lexi decided that her favorite part of class was playing "Ring Around the Rosy" with the "Beanbag" song a close second. When her class was over she didn't want to leave, I think that I may have another dancer on my  hands! Someone, please HELP! (haha) I do not know what I am going to do come June when we have to do the recital. I am already nervous about it! Having one child in one dance was stressful, but now Bianka is going to be in three dances and Lexi will be in one! I think that I may have a nervous breakdown! Well maybe I wouldn't go that far, but I may need a LARGE margarita after recital weekend!

Just Like Sissy!

Alexis want to do EVERYTHING her sister does! Last night she was upset about not being able to go to gymnastics, so my parents let her do gymnastics in their living room! They took some pictures so that I could see, and they turned out SO cute! Lexi wore one of her sister's leotards and had a blast! I do not know what I would do without my parents infinite knowledge about how to take care of kids!  I would be lost!

Well Lexi is getting one of her wishes, she starts dance classes tonight. She is so excited, it has been all she has talked about all week! I am not to sure of how it will go, but I guess we will see! The dance teacher seems to think that she will do fine, I am the only one with reservations.This also means that Lexi will perform in the recital this June! YAY!  

Bink's Gymnastics!

  I just wanted to post some new pics of Bianka's gymnastics practice. I know I have been a bad, bad blogger! I do not have any pictures up of her gymnastics since her first practice from like 3 years ago! She is doing SO well! She does things that make my skin crawl when I watch her! She did her first cartwheel on the beam last night, and she is FINALLY getting the headstand down!

I am sorry that the pics aren't the greatest, I am not actually allowed in the gym so  I had to take them from the viewing room, and the lighting is just not the greatest in there. The picture above is of Bianka holding her cartwheel for 20 seconds. Next week she will have to do 30 seconds! All I can say is OUCH!

Bink's new favorite is the beam. I am very excited about this because before it was the bars, and that made me sick to my stomach to watch. She fell off more than she stayed on, but she did get up and go back to the bars every time!

Avoidance and American Idol

I am currently in the middle of cleaning my kitchen.....and I am bored! So while my kitchen needs a good mopping I am going to write to all of you because I am a procrastinator!

The past few days have been incredibly boring with Josh not here. I never really realize how much he annoys me, keeps me company, and entertains me until he is gone! :o(

I know that I should use this opportunity to catch up on my homework, clean my house, and maybe even watch a chick flick or two, but I am not, I am as usual sitting in front of my computer writing yet another pointless blog post! There is always tomorrow, right?

So anyway on to the good stuff...........

Why is it that every year on American Idol they have one mentally challenged dumbass go on and on and on about how much Simon sucks? I do not know about the rest of America, but I think that it is getting old. No one likes Simon, this is why the show has been a hit! If there were three incredibly nice judges who coddled every bad singer to walk through the door, not ONE person would watch!! So just accept the fact that Simon is an ass, and move on already!! If you have the nerve to go audition, expect Simon to trash you! Why is this so hard to understand?

Also, what was up with the 24 year old nanny that doesn't watch rated "R" movies? I understand values, but I think that this is taking it overboard! Some of the best movies are rated R! Take " V for Vendetta" it is rated R and there is nothing wrong with this movie!! No naked hot and heavy sex scenes, not a lot of blood, and not even alot of bad language! I think that she is missing out on a lot of entertainment, and she is setting herself up for the SHOCK of a lifetime entering the music industry! On the lighter side, if she can make it past the next round she has a shot at winning! She was really good! I also thought that the girl that was a horse training cage fighter was really talented, although she won't even have to sing to get votes(if you know what I mean)!

All in all it looks like this season is going to be the same as all of the previous seasons. I should stop watching, but you know that I won't! Simon will be 85 and in a wheelchair still doing this show, and I will still be watching like a mindless idiot!

It is COLD :o(

Let me start by telling you that I LOVE snow! I really do. I love making snow angles and snowmen, I love snowball fights, and I think that there is nothing prettier than a snow covered tree.

Now let me tell you that I HATE the cold! Makes no sense right? I guess that is just typical me....I never make any sense.I hate waking up in the morning knowing that my floors are going to be freezing, I hate getting the kids in 25 layers of clothes before we leave the house at 8 a.m., and I hate that the kids can't play outside all day like they do during every other season.

It is currently 23 degrees outside, which isn't bad, but it is supposed to be 6 degrees on Sunday! Yes ladies and gentlemen SIX degrees! This is ridiculous! I will not leave my house, I will refuse to!

The kids on the other hand, LOVE it when it is cold. Sometimes I swear they aren't mine! LOL! They love sweaters and scarfs, they love gloves and hats. And they especially love waking up in the morning and getting out every blanket we own and laying on the couch with me (OK, so this part I like).

Well the point of this post is to tell you all that I am a Florida girl, born and bred, so answer me this. Why the heck is my husband in Florida on the coldest day of the year, and I am stuck here in the cold! I can imagine him in short sleeves and sunglasses, driving down the highway with the AC on. I am BITTER! :o) Not really, but does this sound fair to you? I think I should make him sleep in the cold when he gets back!

My Midnight Phone Call

My phone rang at exactly midnight last night......it was so funny that I feel the need to share with you guys! Me: Hello Drunk Guy: TIFFANY!! Me: No Drunk Guy: Can I talk to Tiffany? Me: No Drunk Guy: (sounding like he is crying) Why won't you let me talk to Tiffany? Me: Because she doesn't live here Drunk Guy: That doesn't matter, I really need to talk to her! Me: No, you are not understanding, you have the wrong number! Drunk Guy: No, I know I don't! Why are you being so mean? Why won't you let me talk to Tiffany? I really have to tell her something. Me: (getting annoyed) SERIOUSLY! She does not live here! I do not know Tiffany! Drunk Guy: Then why the hell are you answering her phone?? Me:(laughing) I didn't. Drunk Guy: Why are you f#%^ing with me? Me: I wouldn't do that, I really did not answer Tiffany's phone! Drunk Guy: FINE! I am coming over there right now! I don't know why you won't let me talk to Tiffany...so I am just coming over! Tell her I am on my way! Me: Ok, I will! Bye! HEHE! I love screwing with people! ( I know sick, right? But the guy woke me up at midnight, he had it coming!) :o)

Lexi's First Day of Preschool!

Yesterday was Lexi's first day of preschool, well ok I guess that it is pre-preschool, if that makes sense! She will be attending this preschool until the fall when she will attend Community Nursery, just like her big sister.I am just taking her here in order to prepare her for the transition into preschool. She will go on Tuesdays for an hour.

Lexi did really well. I was impressed. She looked kind of hesitant when her teacher came out to get her. I think that it was at that moment that she realized that Mommy would not be coming with her. After she gave me the saddest look that I have ever seen, she went with the teacher and acted like a big girl. While she did not cry, I bawled. I really expected her to throw a fit and make me come into the class with her. I know that is good that she didn't, but I kind of wish that she would have! The only time that she cried for me was when she ran head first into another little boy in the gym. My baby girl is growing up!!

The school that she is attending has a different theme every week, and this week was P.J. week, so all of the pics look a little funny. It is odd that Lexi's first pictures of going to preschool are all in her p.j.'s and slippers, but oh well! They are cute anyway!!

Resident Evil:Extinction

Josh and I just watched Resident Evil:Extinction.

It was an excellent movie, all the way until the end! What is up with a movie that has no ending?? It left a million questions unanswered, the main character did not even accomplish anything, and half of the cast died! What the hell?

I am severely annoyed!! While I am sure that there is going to be a Resident Evil 4, it is still frustrating that I have to wait! There I go being a spoiled brat again! haha Oh well, I am done venting for the night! Hope that you all have had an excellent weekend so far!

Family Game Night

The kids have been anxious to try out some of the games that they got for Christmas, so tonight we tried Kerplunk. This was my favorite game when I was a kid. I was SO excited that we found it! So Bianka and Lexi helped put all of the marbles in and then we one by one pulled out the sticks. I have no idea how, but we played like ten times, and I lost every time!! I was amazed to see that the girls did really well with taking turns, and they were really good sports too! Bianka actually put some of my marbles in her dish so that I could win once! It was really cute. Because tonight went so well I have deemed every Friday night family game night! I am kind of excited that the girls are old enough now to be able to sit down and participate in family activities without it being a living nightmare!

Have you ever sat down and realized that your kids are growing up, and you haven't even noticed? It is sad really. I would have never imagined the Lexi would get the concept of a board game, or be patient enough to play it. It is amazing how time passes and you think that everything stays the same, but things are changing all the time, you just don't pay enough attention to notice it. At least that is how my life has been lately. It is easy to get caught up in the everyday craziness and not pay attention to the things that really matter.

Bianka is feeling better :o)

Bianka has been home for 24 hours and all is well so far! She is a little sluggish, but that is to be expected. She is just layig on the couch with her faithful sidekick Boo Boo. Hopefully she will be up to speed by Monday! She is looking forward to gewtting back to school and dance, and everything else that she does. Lets keep our fingers crossed!! :o)

Celebrity Apprentice

Ok, I know that Omarosa was on the Apprentice before, but how in the world does that make her a celebrity? HELLO she was FIRED! She didn't even win! If you can be a celebrity just by being a stupid bitch....then EVERYONE should know my name! I thought the point of this was to raise money for charity? Who does she know that will donate?

It was Omarosa's idea to not "sell" celebrity (maybe because she is not one)and then the poor Playboy Bunny got fired for it! I agree that Tiffany may not have been the brightest crayon in the box, but she did nothing wrong! All I can say is I want to see Gene Simmons and Omarosa go head to head!

WOW!! New Years was interesting this year!! First of all I want to thank Tracie and Sandy for still talking to me!(my kids and I kinda ruined the night) Lets start at the begining! The night was started out with me taking a nap. Well I woke up late, no big deal. We got the kids in the car and headed over to Rob and Tracie's for our party. We were already late, I had a headache, and Lexi decides to throw up all over the car! YAY!!!! We turn around and go home, get Lexi changed, and head back to Rob and Tracie's. As soon as I walked in the door I felt ill. I had to run to their bathroom and I stayed there or on the couch sleeping for the remainder of the night! HAPPY FREAKING NEW YEAR TO ME!! Apparantly, while I am sick in my friends bedroom passed out, Josh and the kids were having a good time. Bianka was excited to be with her friends and that we were letting her stay up late. Josh was drinking beer with the guys and I do not even think he noticed that I was gone. Meanwhile what we thought was just car sickness for Lexi was not. About halfway through the night she started to get sick again. As soon as she started feeling bad, I began to feel better. I felt SO bad for her! We just kind of let her lay around, and didn't think much about it(my kids are always sick). And I tried to play some games with my friends. I made it to midnight, kissed my husband, took some pictures, and made the biggest mistake EVER! I ate some very delicious food! This was the downfall of the night. You have to understand.....my friend Tracie made my FAVORITE meatballs, I had clam dip, and there was all kinds of really good nut rolls and fudge and mint candy. You would think that I would have been smarter than to eat it all......but I wasn't. :o( I decided that it would be better if we went home for the night, and it is a good thing that we did! I went to bed sick as a dog, and I woke up to Josh taking Lexi to the hospital. She was burning up and throwing up again. He was at the hospital with her until 5am. Again, HAPPY NEW YEAR!! Turns out that she has an ear infection, and she was dehydrated. She had to get a shot of antibiotics and then they let her come home. Needless to say we all slept in on New Year's day. Lexi was seeming to feel better, and so was I. So we had a lazy day. We were all winding down and watching a movie when Bink started to get sick.:o( After about her 5th time of throwing up we decided to take her in to the hospital. My sister came over to watch Lexi and thank God she did! Bianka was severly dehydrated, and they admitted her after three shots of anti-nausea meds and two bags of IV fluids were not working. We spent the next two days at the hospital. My little girl was such a trooper!! Thank God it was just the stomach flu! All I have to say is next New Years we are not leaving the house. I am ignoring the holiday! If I ignore it nothing bad will happen. When I make plans and have things to do, something always happens! I hope that everyone else had a wonderful New Year!!

Bored,Tired,Worried

So I am still at the hospital with little miss Bink. It doesn't look
like she is going to get to come home today. She is feeling a little
bit better, just not enough for them to send her home. I hope that we
will be out of here by morning.

I am sleep deprived and starving. I don't want to eat in front of Bink
because she can't eat. So I just have not eaten. I guess that's what I
can do now. I am going to go get some yummy hospital cafeteria food!

Bianka is in the hospital

My baby girl is sick. :o(

We brought her to the ER last night because she wouldn't stop throwing
up. She is dehydrated and sick. They have her on IV fluids, and she
has to wait until she isn't sick to her stomach anymore before they
will let us leave. I am hoping that she can come home tonight, but it
is looking more like tomorrow.

Bink is such a trooper!! They have had to poke and stick her and she
hasn't complained.

I will update you guys when we get home!! Think good thoughts!! Love
