After delays at Josh's work, my incompetent packing, whiny children, and a 7 hour drive we finally made it to Evansville LATE Thursday night. I love that we get to go see our family every year at Christmas. It is so nice that even though we live so far away that the kids get to spend special time with them every year.
Julie and Rick went WAY overboard on presents for the kids!! We had a van full coming back! These presents included these little cheerleader dolls from HELL!! They were adorable at first...then they were annoying.....then I wanted to chop their cute little heads off!! haha(Thanks Jules!!)
We got to spend time with Josh's brother and sister-in-law. The kids have a blast with them(because they are just big kids themselves) and Josh always loves to see his brother.
We went to Josh's Mimi and Papaw's on Saturday. I hate that we never have enough time to spend over there. It seems like we have to stop in and run! The kids always seem to be tired and cranky. I know that they enjoy seeing them anyway, I just wish for once that they could see the girls when they are being sweet and nice, not tired and whiny!!
All in all it was a wonderful time with the Family! I just wish that we had more time to spend with everyone.
