Gone Mac!

Well it is official! I am an idiot! Josh, my wonderful loving special perfect husband, bought me a MacBook for Christmas. I have no idea how to work the darn thing. So as soon as I figure it out I will post my pictures from Christmas. I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas and if I don't get to post before then a Happy New Year!

Shop till you drop!

I had a very long yet fun day yesterday. I tagged along with Tracie and her friend Rebecca on their annual Christmas shopping excursion and it was, needless to say, interesting. I have so many comments/stories from yesterday that I must display them to you in a convenient bulleted list! YAY! I love lists!

  • I had to meet them at 9 a.m. Yes, me up and out in public at 9 on a Saturday morning. Scary, I know.
  • They trusted me to drive. A mistake on many levels. I will explain more later.
  • Josh gave me cash, plus the debit card. MISTAKE!
  • I spent almost as much money on junk food as I did shopping. I am still full almost 24 hours later. Uncomfortably full.
  • We saw a guy with a tail in Macy's. No I am not joking, a TAIL!
  • Hollister is the darkest most depressing store that I have ever been in. They must also have some sort of rule banning their employees from folding sweaters faster than one every three minutes. Either that or the guy checking us out was extremely obsessive compulsive.
  • Tracie has shopping induced rage.
  • This rage is probably brought on by the mean little elf that follows her into stores and snatches all of the sizes that she needs in EVERYTHING that she wants. I bet that damn elf was laughing his butt off. Poor Tracie couldn't find anything!
  • Seasonal workers are cranky. One of them actually looked at me and said "Duh!" Like I was the idiot! I put my stuff on the belt at target and the cashier just looked at me and waved her hand forward. I had no idea what she was doing so I just gave her a look that must have screamed IDIOT! She then looked at me and tapped on her belt and said "Belt not working, SCOOCH IT" I scooched it and then she looked at me, laughed and said, "DUH". Oh my goodness I was peeved. I think the lady knew it too because she was overly nice to Tracie and Rebecca who were in line behind me.
  • My family would have been very impressed that I did not bite that ladys head off and ask for her manager. I was on my best behavior. YAY me! Being around new people must be good for me.
  • On top of the evil little size snatching elf that Tracie has following her she has also somehow pissed of Jack Frost. Everytime we go anywhere is snows and sleets and all of the roads freeze. I just have the misfortune of always wanting to drive. I think that I may have learned my lesson this time. It started snowing soon after we got there and did not stop until after we left.
  • I hate driving in the snow. It scares the crap out of me. I am truly meant to live somewhere tropical.
  • I had to give up my pathetic effort to drive on the slippery roads and let Tracie take the wheel. We pulled off to a gas station because I had to GO. I went in to get the key and the ever so sweet lady told me that the bathroom was out of order. I am convinced that she just want to see me pee myself. Merry Freaking Christmas! People are so cheery this time of year.
  • Tracie went to get back on the interstate and drove for a good 90 seconds on the rumble strip before she looked at me with fear in her eyes and said "What is wrong with your car?!?". We laughed so hard that she had to pull over for another five minutes due to the laughing induced coughing fit that prevent her from taking a drink for the next half an hour.
  • I was so nervous to drive home that Tracie had to drop me off and take my car home.

Sounds interesting doesn't it? All in all we had a blast. I never laugh as hard as when I am with Tracie. The very very sad part of the whole day was that I spent all of my money and I am still not done shopping! I have to go again next weekend, who wants to go with me? Let me know!

My baby is growing up! :o(

I took this picture of Bianka yesterday and she looks so grown up! It is a beautiful picture that makes me incredibly sad. Why do our kids have to grow up so fast? It is just not fair!

Do you know the muffin man?

It is truly feeling like Christmas in our house. We made our annual ginger bread house this week and it turned out quite nicely. This is the first year that it has stayed together without me cursing and crying. This was also the first year that little Lexi was able to help and to be honest we had a lot of fun. Bianka helped me assemble the house, I iced it, then both of the girls had their own side to decorate. Now I just have to keep the girls from eating eat long enough for everyone to see it!

Flashback!!!

I am so behind! I hate to post Halloween pics in December...but these are just to cute to keep stored in the black hole that is my computer. The girls had a blast this haloween. Paulla, Dylan, Jessie, and Makayla all came over to enjoy the festivities. The were soon followed by Sheena and Robbie. We had a ton of kids come to trick or treat and my girls went down our street twice. It is the middle of December and they haven't even put a dent in their candy!
Bianka was a black cat and in true Bianka style she had to have the whole effect...even her hair. I do not know if any of you have ever used the spray on black hair dye, but take it from me...if you haven't, DON'T! First of all it came off on everything her hair touched. I thought it was just no big deal because it washed right off.....HA yea right! At the end of the night I put the girls in the tub as usual, told Bianka to get her hair wet, and then it started. It took all of two seconds for the whole tub to turn black. Bianka was stained black and Lexi was crying like her sister had caught the plague. Now this must only happen with the black because Lexi's hair was pink and it came out like magic and never got on one thing. I ended up putting Bink in the shower and spraying her down like she was contaminated. It was a disaster. It took me three days to get all of the black spots out of the tub and shower. OK well I guess that was enough complaining for one post, enjoy the pictures! :o)

Just to be a kid again!

This is a picture of Lexi while I was shopping for Thanksgiving. What
would you give to be able to do that again? It must be a great life to
sleep whenever you want and be pushed around Walmart!

Lexi is hungry!!!!!

We have been waiting for 30 minutes at Bob Evans and we are
STARVING!!! What gives? If they don't feed my kids soon I am going to
be blogging from a police cruiser!
